Geo-Tec Radiant Control Center

The Geo-Tec Radiant Control Center is designed to simplify the installation and operation of a geothermal water-to-water system.  The RCC is as simple to hookup as a thermostat yet will save you many hours of installation and diagnostic headaches.  The system is designed to work with any manufacturer of geothermal water-to water equipment, fan coil units, and radiant floor systems.

  When installed with a two-stage heat thermostat, the RCC will bring on your buffer tank element, auxiliary heat in the air handler, or any other heat source as a backup system.  It will also control the seasonal switch over to make your water-to-water one of the most efficient air conditioners on the market.  With optional control add-ons the RCC can be made to control multiple

water-to-water units as well as multiple air handler units.  The RCC can also maximize system efficiency by allowing the homeowner to heat with the air handler in early fall and late spring when heating the entire floor is not necessary.

The Radiant Control Center will use your master thermostat to control the operation of the water-to-water unit and the air handler.  The master thermostat will control the radiant needs of the zone where it is located.  The RCC will also regulate the operation of zone thermostats used for the radiant heat.  With the outdoor temperature aquastat, the RCC will use the air handler to supply heat when the outdoor temperature is above a fix set point.  This will allow the geothermal system to respond faster to outdoor temperature changes.  In the cooling mode the RCC will supply chilled water to the air handler and make sure that the chilled water stays out of the radiant floor.

The Geo-Tec Radiant Control Center is  pre-wired and customized to your individual application.  It is also shipped with recommended wiring and system piping schematics.
